Mini Album

Last night I was busy creating this mini album for my daughter Maddie who recently had a rainbow birthday party.

I'll add her favorite pictures to each page so we can have a keepsake of her special day.

Instructions:

Step 1:  Score a  4 1/4" x 11" piece of card stock at 4 3/4" and 10".  This will make the cover for your pages.

Step 2:  You will need two pieces of card stock measuring 8 1/2" x 4 1/4".  Score both pieces at 4 1/4".  Fold card stock at the score mark.  These will be your inside pages.

Step 3:  Decorate and embellish your cover and pages.  Make sure you pay attention to how the pages will be placed in your book.  You don't want some pages to be upside down when your flipping through your album. I suggest decorating your pages before you secure them in your album.

Step 4:  Using a small hole punch, punch the pages and cover along the crease of your album. One punch about a 1/2" in on each side.  Using a sturdy string (I used Stampin! Up bakers twine), pull through the holes and tie on the outside of the cover.  I added two brads so that I could wrap more bakers twine around the brads for a closure.  This part is optional.

Step 5:  Enjoy!

P.S. - These would also make great gifts!

All materials and papers used are from Stampin! Up. If you'd like to order, please leave me a comment.
